Mega fauna sightings: Sep - Nov 2020

Three sea turtles were at Seringat-Kias lagoon on 16 Nov 2020. More about the sightings here.

More sea turtle!

Dive Nut shared that sea turtle was spotted on 15 Oct at Pulau Hantu North. Video by James Costelloo. The turtle is described as a resident called "dude".

Dolphin sightings

Evon Tan shared a video on 29 Nov about snorklers encountering wild dolphins in the artificial lagoon of Seringat-Kias (Lazarus Island). Here's a screen shot, the blue arrow pointing at the fin of a dolphin.

MORE mega fauna

We have lots of wild sharks in our waters. Unfortunately, one was seen dead at Pulau Semakau by Vincent Choo on 19 Oct. We are not sure why it died, but the comments on this repost have some suggestions. More about sharks on Singapore shores.
A sighting of 5 eagle rays seen swimming off Labrador Park was shared on 6 Nov. More on mothership

Cuddlefish divers shared that they saw two eagle rays, sea turtles while diving Pulau Jong and St. John's Island on 25 Nov.
