Pulau Ubin people had fun at a workshop specially for those organising activities for Pesta Ubin 2019!
About 60 people passionate about Pulau Ubin from 15 Organising Groups made time to attend the Pesta Ubin 2019 Workshop. This is the third such workshop organised by NParks, and this year's theme is "Supporting Ubin businesses"
The workshop is specially for Organising Groups who are planning activities for Pesta Ubin 2019. It was a great opportunity to introduce the new team of youths who will be Community Coordinators for Pesta Ubin 2019!

NParks also did a great presentation on the Ubin businesses, where they are located, what they offer and their operating hours.
This workshop aims to allow participants to get to know others passionate about Ubin and what they are offering for Pesta Ubin.
To share ideas on how we can all improve Pesta Ubin together. Especially how our Pesta Ubin activities can help support the businesses and residents of Pulau Ubin.
During the first breakout sessions, participants shared their experiences with Ubin businesses and discussed some of the challenges Ubin businesses might face.
In the second session, participants discussed how our Pesta Ubin activities can involve and support Ubin businesses and residents.
At the end, each group did fun role play to illustrate their ideas and discussions! Such as, a van driver tour with hilarious commentary.

We had a great time doing and watching the role play.
The groups voted for the winning group and they got first choice of little gifts.
But everyone went home with a little gift.
Participants also voted on their choice for the Pesta Ubin 2019 logo. The selected logo is designed by Syazwan Majid and will be the Pesta Ubin 2019 badge for volunteers!
