Alan Tan will share about Chek Jawa in a weekday talk in town! So if you missed his earlier Chek Jawa talk, here's a chance to catch it. The talk is free, and admission to the National Museum is free as well.
About the talk: Located at the eastern part of Pulau Ubin, Chek Jawa Wetlands consist of six eco-systems in an area covering approximately 100 hectares. These eco-systems include the sandy beach, rocky beach, seagrass lagoon, coral rubble, mangroves and coastal forest. Rich in biodiversity and full of nature wonders, she is regarded as one of Singapore's nature heritage areas.
Be intrigued and get to know more about this wonderful nature habitat once known as a dirty mudflat.
Alan Tan has been an avid volunteer in sharing his wealth of knowledge about Chek Jawa for a few years before joining the National Parks Board as a Senior Conservation Offiver. Alan also loves nature photography.
All are welcome.
