My first time spotting otters during a Naked Hermit Crab walk at the Chek Jawa boardwalk!
They are quite shy and stayed away from the people. The visitors also spotted a mangrove whipray! This is why I prefer to visit Chek Jawa at a high tide. We won't enjoy such sightings at low tide.
We had lots of awesome families and new friends join us for this free monthly walk.
Here's the awesome visitors in my group.
My walk was filled with Joy! That is Joy pointing out all the wonderful things to see at the boardwalk.
What a delight she is.
We enjoyed a beautiful blue sky day!
As usual, the walk ends with a drawing session!
We are so impressed by the team from the College of Alice and Peter Tan who came to learn about the Naked Hermit Crabs. We all took turns to share more about what we do and why we do it.
Another highlight, lots of wild boar piglets!
We heard that there are now three mother wild boar who had piglets.
We should do our part to avoid unpleasant incidents by not leaving food and drinks in the bicycle when we park it the Chek Jawa gates.
