Chek Jawa boardwalk additional closure Jan-Mar 2015

Due to upgrading works, in addition to the closure of the mangrove boardwalk, a part of the coastal boardwalk at Chek Jawa will be closed 23 Jan-31 Mar 2015.

For your information, we will be carrying out the Phase 2 boardwalk upgrading works at Chek Jawa Wetlands soon.

A section of the Mangrove Boardwalk and Coastal Boardwalk will be closed from 23 January 2015 to 31 March 2015.

Other facilities at Chek Jawa Wetlands, including Visitor Centre and Viewing Jetty, will be open for public use.

I happened to visit Chek Jawa on 21 Dec and here's what I saw of the on-going works: The hoarding at the start of the Mangrove boardwalk.

I hope all will be well with Chek Jawa during the works. Looking forward to a brand new boardwalk once the works are completed.
