23 Mar (Fri): NUS Talk on "Secret Shores of Singapore"

I'll be giving a FREE lunchtime talk about our shores at NUS next week. No need to swim, no need to dive! Ordinary people can experience much of Singapore's amazing marine life on the intertidal shore.
A4 Poster: Singapore has world-class reefs
Otters, wild dolphins, sea turtles! Nemos, sea snakes, living corals and more. From accessible shores like Changi and Tanah Merah, to our many huge submerged reefs.

I hope to share photos and stories of recent adventures on our living shores. How can we visit our shores? And find out how you CAN make a difference for our little-known shores!
Celebrating National Day on Cyrene!

This talk is part of BEYOND BORDERS, an initiative by the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) of the National University of Singapore (NUS). The programme aims to enrich and inspire the NUS student community through a series of motivational talks by ordinary people, who with an indomitable spirit, transcended limitations to create possibilities.

OSA would like to emphasise this: "“Please note that this event is open exclusively for NUS students, staff and Alumni. Entry to the NUS Library is strictly controlled through the use of access cards (ie. Student Matric Card, Staff Card & Alumni Card)”

The talk is free but pre-registration is required via this form.

Date: 23 Mar (Fri)
Time: 12.30-1.30pm
