19 Nov (Sat): Talk on "Singapore's Coral Reefs" by Jeffrey Low

More about diving Singapore's waters! In this special talk by experienced scuba diver and one of the founding members of the Blue Water Volunteers, Jeffrey Low.
There will also be a short colouring session for kids after Jeff's talk, as well as a marine exhibition of posters of Singapore's marine life by wildsingapore from 1 Nov-31 Dec.

The world is three-quarters water, therefore men should spend 75% of their life at sea! Most Singaporeans can be forgiven if they think that there is no marine life in our waters -- the waters are a bit murky, and our busy urban lifestyle leaves most people disconnected from nature, and even more so, from the marine environment. Even the die-hard divers do not know of (or choose to ignore) the hidden gem right at their doorstep, just 30 minutes from the urban heart of Singapore! Let experienced scuba diver and one of the founding members of the Blue Water Volunteers, Jeffrey Low, unveil the unseen and under-appreciated world of Singapore's coral reefs!

Time: 2.30pm
Venue. The National Geographic Store, 1 HarbourFront Walk, #01-19 VivoCity.
