Marine experiments at Selah Pauh and in the vicinity of Pulau Tekukor

With effect from 5 Oct 09 to 16 Oct 09. Daily 0900 hrs to 1900 hrs, including Sundays and Public Holidays. Selat Pauh and in the vicinity of Pulau Tekukor (see attached chartlets):
Static tests will be carried out in the vicinity of Pulau Tekukor. Underwater cable with buoys will be deployed into the sea from the survey craft which will remain stationary in the working areas. The cable will have a maximum length of 6 metre from the stern of the craft.
Dynamic tests will involve towing of an underwater cable with buoys at the Selat Pauh anchorage, of a maximum length of 15 metre by the survey craft within the working area.
The work boats will at all times warn and re-direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of the on-going working areas. Contact with the work boats can be made via VHF Channel 68 and 16.
