Blogging for nature with SPROUT

A very short nap after the field trip and I'm off for the SPROUT! workshops to introduce blogging for nature. This excellent programme is organised by Ian and the team from Green NYF with N. Sivasothi and Kenneth Pinto are leading the segment on blogging for nature.

The programme had already started when I arrived at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve.
And Siva was already in the midst of his usual inspiring talk about how blogging can make a difference for nature and the environment. Then Kenneth gave a great introduction to the nuts and bolts of starting an effective blog.
I briefly introduced the wildsingapore internet resources.

After that, the workshop participants would be led by Colleen on a phototaking trip at the Reserve. Colleen leads the very successful Macro Maniacs on flickr who do excellent work in capturing and sharing the beauty and wonder of Sungei Buloh.

I just heard they had a great outing despite the wet weather in the afternoon.

Wow, I'm sure the participants will have fun documenting and sharing about our nature!

I certainly learnt a lot from Siva and Kenneth sitting in their talks.
