Kusu Island pilgrimage season: 18 Oct - 16 Nov

Traditionally happening on the ninth month of the Chinese lunar calendar, 100,000 devotees and visitors are expected to visit tiny Kusu Island for the annual pilgrimage season. It is said that 80% of the pilgrims are women. Many come to pray for good husbands, healthy babies and obedient children.

Besides the temple, Kusu Island is also the resting place of three Malay kramats. More about Kusu Island on the wildsingapore website.

The road to Marina South Pier will be closed to regular traffic during this period, and normal ferry services to St. John's Island suspended.

Aside from the Today article below, there has been no further information posted by MPA or Sentosa yet. I will update this post if and when there is more information. Meanwhile, here is the information for last year's arrangements for travel.
