September is Science Month in Singapore

And I'm glad to see there's some biodiversity and nature elements among this year's activities.
Among the many listed on the rather cutesy Science.09 website are these interesting free talks and activities, some for kids and families:

• 5 Sep (Sat): Talk on "Frogs of Singapore"
• 12 Sep (Sat): Science in the Gardens for kids and families.
  
• 12 Sep (Sat): Bounce Goes Out to Ecogarden trail @ Science Centre for kids and families.
  
• 26 Sep (Sat): Talk on "Walk on the Wild Side: Marine Conservation in Singapore"
• Also listed are the talks earlier announced by the Department of Biological Sciences, NUS to celebrate their 60th anniversary.
  

From the website: "Sciencemonth is an annual national event to celebrate the dynamism of science, technology and biomedicine". Apparently this has been going since 2001, and in other versions since the 1980's. More on the Science.09 website.
