23-24 May (Sat & Sun): EnviroFest 2009

Coming up this weekend, a biodiversity and environmental extravaganza goes wild at EnviroFest 2009.
The wacky and wild NParks officers and volunteers at last year's EnviroFest.

Always wanted to find out more about the various action groups for nature? Want to bring the kids and the family for fun and games while learning more about our biodiversity?

A special biodiversity trail will be set up featuring the rainforest, mangroves, freshwater and marine habitats of Singapore. Here, you can sign up for walks to see these for yourself. And join in the fun and games that volunteers have prepared.

It will be bigger and better than last year's spectacular EnviroFest which also ran over two days.

The event also brings most of the major action groups together under one roof. Besides the nature groups, the event also includes lifestyle groups and organisations that highlight environmental issues. Drop by to find out more about their work and how you can be a part of it.

The participating groups include:
  • National Environment Agency
  • National Parks Board
  • Raffles Museum Toddycats!
  • Waterways Watch Society
  • Singapore Environment Council
