Water skiing site designated near Sentosa's natural shore

Sentosa's last natural shore has reefs and seagrasses and is alive with marine creatures. This area is monitored by TeamSeagrass and the Naked Hermit Crabs conduct guided walks on this shore.
Somewhere off Siloso Beach, near this site is an area designated as a water skiing site! Work to install navigational and mooring buoys in this area (involving a crane barge), was supposed to be completed in Nov 08 but has been extended to Jan 09.

This is a revision of Port Marine Notice No. 192 of 2008. The working period has been extended. With effect from 01 Dec 08 to 31 Jan 09, 0800 hours to 1900 hours daily, including Sundays and Public Holidays. Off Siloso Beach, Sentosa (see attached plan)

Four (4) navigational buoys and two (2) mooring buoys will be installed at the locations as per the attached chartlet. The crane barge will be deployed for the installation works. A safety boat will be deployed to advise all craft to keep clear of the buoy installation locations.
