Singapore has amazing marine life! Captured so well by Toh Chay Hoon on her awesome colouring sheet!
From the mangroves (being 'marked' by a cute otter), to seagrass meadows (with a dugong). Rocky shores and sandy shores crawling with life, to amazing reefs with corals, dolphin, shark, 'Nemo', sea snake and more! These are all indeed found in Singapore!
Today it's International Day of Biological Diversity! We celebrate the Day this weekend at the Marine Exhibition during the Festival of Biodiversity! Get this awesome marine colouring sheet and learn more about Singapore's marine biodiversity during the Festival!
The exhibition will feature Singapore's amazing marine ecosystems, from mysterious mangroves to lush seagrass meadows, amazing reefs to strange sandy shores. Volunteers guide you through the exhibits with lots of stories. Check out live seagrasses, and learn more about our shores through interesting games and puzzles
There's lots more going on at the Festival of Biodiversity too!
Be bedazzled by butterflies and birds, awed by trees and seagrasses, tickle your curiousity with crabs and colugos. Singapore is wilder that you might imagine. Find out more about our biodiversity and what you can do to make a difference!
